In order to meet the needs of our contractors, clients and construction projects, Local 84 members are required to make custom-fit and specialty-needed insulation.
Based on certain specifications or project timelines, this specialty work can be implemented to meet the needs of customers in any industry, for insulation required to control temperature application, fire-stop or noise-control.
Highly trained and highly skilled members of Local 84 receive advanced training, combined with on-the-job education to help make them experts in specialty fabrication, where precision cuts and quality work is required.
Often times, speciality fabrication work includes:
- Die cutting for any kind and size of opening.
- Fabrication of sound control.
- Creation of thermal barrier products.
